The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness in the aftermath of a geomagnetic disaster. There are no zombies — only you, the cold, and all the threats Mother Nature can muster. Bright lights flare across the night sky. The wind rages outside the thin walls of your wooden cabin. A wolf howls in the distance. You look at the meagre supplies in your pack, and wish for the days before the power mysteriously went out. How much longer will you survive?
How to Download & Install The Long Dark
- Access the Link: Click the button below to go to Crolinks. Wait 5 seconds for the link to generate, then proceed to UploadHaven.
- Start the Process: On the UploadHaven page, wait 15 seconds and then click the grey “Free Download” button.
- Extract the Files: After the file finishes downloading, right-click the
.zipfile and select “Extract to The Long Dark”. (You’ll need WinRAR for this step.) - Run the Game: Open the extracted folder, right-click the
.exefile, and select “Run as Administrator.” - Enjoy: Always run the game as Administrator to prevent any saving issues.
